I just gotta share a little bit about the strategy and protocol we did with the Yaras 7s team as part of checking out how our communication stacks up. We decided to mic up the athletes during some intense training sessions and scenarios that mimic actual game conditions to get the real scoop on what goes down communication-wise when the pressure’s on.
Hearing their chatter during the play was wild—it was like I was right back out there with them, feeling every pass and play. There’s something so raw and real about listening in like that; it makes you realize just how crucial every shout, call, and signal is during the game.
It’s not just talk; it’s an immersive power play by itself. Now that we've collected all this chatter, the next step is to dive into the data. We’re going to analyze the tapes and pick out key moments that show what we’re doing right and what needs a bit more work.
We're hoping this will not only help us tighten up our game but also create a kind of glossary of terms that everyone understands. This could be a game-changer for bringing new players up to speed and making sure everyone’s on the same wavelength.
I'm buzzing to see what insights we'll uncover and how we can use them to boost our teamwork and strategies.
